Info: Purple Candy Kush is an indica dominant strain with a very high thc content. Like most strains there are debates of who had it first and how it is made but it is believed to have been originally a cross of BC Sweet Tooth with California classic Mendocino Purps although others believe it was a hybrid of OG Kush and Purple Wreck that was further crossed with a Godzilla Grape strain. Either way the result is what we now call Purple Candy or Purple Candy kush. One thing everyone does agree on is that if you put your hand in a bag of Purple Candy Kush you will find it very sticky – much like enjoying some candy. It is a strong relaxing body high with some happy sativa effects as well. You will get the munchies on this one. Good for stress, pain, depression, insomnia and lack of appetite. This is a nighttime strain.
Sample submitted: “Purple Candy Kush” dried cannabis flowers.
Visual Inspection: Free from visible contamination and foreign matter.
Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
Absent Cannabinoids: if a cannabinoid or terpene is blank, it is not necessarily absent but below the limit of detection by the detector (usually less than 0.01%).

The Purple Candy strain has unique purple and green leaves that sport orange hairs. This coloration has led to this strain of cannabis receiving the nickname Purple Candy weed.
