Info: Shishkaberry is an indica-dominant hybrid resulting from a cross between DJ Short Blueberry and an unknown Afghani strain. This strain is quite high in Cannabigerol (CBG) which not psychoactive and is known to block the psychoactive effects of THC. Don’t assume this will keep you from getting high…the indica effects of the strain are quite potent. CBG was shown to stimulate neurogenesis (brain cell growth). CBG is also antibacterial, anti-tumor, and helps with insomnia. This strain provides a fairly potent and long-lasting stone that is initially happy but then its indica traits take effect and leave you very relaxed for a long time. Good for stress, depression, pain, insomnia and lack of appetite.

Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
