Info: Violator kush is an old time strain that delivers an intense body stone making for great sedation/sleep but lousy motor skills. Use this one in the evening when you don’t have to go anywhere. Many people report NOT getting the munchies from this one. Super resinous flowers – your fingers will get sticky just cutting it up. The batch we currently have is an 11/10!
If you have never heard of the Violator Kush strain then you are missing out some fantastic cannabis. The Violator Kush weed strain is a pure indica in almost every sense of the definition. It’s old school too, thought to have been in circulation for a decade and a half or more. It was originally created by the amazing cannabis seed company called Barney’s Farm, a well known Dutch breeding lab that sells premium cannabis seeds internationally. The Violator Kush cannabis strain was the cross-breeding result of combining the Hindu Kush and Malana strains, both well known in their own right.
The physical characteristics of the Violator Kush indica strain is that the plants produce a larger than average volume of flowers, which is ideal for any home grower. The Violator Kush indica flowers are known to be particularly resinous, almost dripping with resin during peak flowering season. The plant, like many indicas, is very short and stocky. One could even accurately describe it as a bit bushing in width.
When it comes to the smell of Violator, it is most often described as having an earthy aroma, one that is even a bit musty. When you hold fire to the delicious buds they give off a strong earthy smell as well, with undertones of pungent spices and herbal medicine.
With regard to the effects of Violator Kush, it is well known for coming on fast and strong. You will first begin to feel a strong body buzz. This body high will likely leave you couch locked, however, it is a fantastic and perfectly acceptable feeling if you don’t have much to do and just want to relax. When someone first describes the effects of Violator, relaxed is the first word they would probably use to describe it. It can also make you feel sleepy, happy, joyous or euphoric, and even a bit hungry.
Violator is a great medicinal marijuana strain. It is known to be a great treatment for anyone suffering from stress, pain, insomnia, fatigue, or depression. Due to its heavy indica effects, you only need a little bit of this bud if your THC tolerance level is quite low. Anything more than a little and the bud we’ll take you off to dreamland where you will get fantastic and high-quality sleep. If you feel any type of physical pain then you’ll notice this strain works extremely well at alleviating it.

Activated vs non-activated: activated cannabinoids are non-acidic (neutral) and are the form utilized by the human brain/ body. Activation occurs via heating (smoking, vaporizing, cooking). Cannabinoids in the natural plant are acidic (non-activated) and need to be converted to their neutral form in order to be utilized by the human body. Therefore one would expect fresh cannabis buds to contain mainly non-activated cannabinoids. Processed materials (baked goods, heated extracts) should be higher in the activated forms.
